Pull Apart Cupcake Cake Class

Pull apart cakes are the latest trend in cake decorating. It is a fantastic option for someone who would like to bring it to school or serve cupcakes at their party, yet want the look of a finished cake

A pull apart cake, also known as pull away cake or cupcake cake, is a cake which uses cupcakes as the base and is then frosted as one cake. Since these cakes are made out of cupcakes, they are made to “pull apart”.

In just one 2-hour class will introduce you to some of the basic skills of cake decorating using buttercream and fondant.

1 Ready to use gel tube (black)
1 Wilton roll and cut mat
1 9 in. Rolling pin
1 16 in. Featherweight or Disposable Decorating Bag
2 Standard couplers
2 Wilton disposable decoration bags
1 Decorating tip s# 789 (Cake Icer) , #3, 21, 47 and 104
1 Circus Balloons Topper Set from Wilton (optional)
2 10 x 14 in. or 1 -13 x 19 in. Cake Board
1 Wilton clear vanilla extract
1 Paint brush
1 Small angled spatula
4 Small plastic bowls
1 Piece of Parchment Paper
Shortening and confectioners’ sugar
Wilton Practice board, Ziploc bags and Apron
